ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I am Mariyah Khan, a first-generation Bangladeshi. I was born and raised in New York City. I am a Muslim and have been wearing the hijab for 5 years. I will be going into my sophomore year in high school. I have always had a fascination with the human brain, and I soon hope to pursue something in the medical field.

Growing up, I learned that silence is often woven into our traditions, especially during difficult times. Cozy Cognition is my response to that silence: a space to speak, to share, and to feel. Through personal storytelling and gentle reflection, I hope to make others feel heard and seen while navigating their own paths. This blog explores the intersections of cultural identity, mental health, and personal growth, offering comfort and insight for anyone balancing the weight of their world.
